Notes about this video: In this video, I've edited the clips to be much shorter than the last video. I'd appreciate any feedback on which you like best. Sorry for the reflection in furbys eyes, I'm investing in proper lighting. I normally try to not use the same toys as others already used. I had some requests to do a furby which I've included in this video. This is a 2012 model, @highvoltagetoys has a video on another model. I am also aware that aboringday had a similar ape in a video. However, I had this lying around and I had the board connected which I think added some value to this toy at 8V and 25V. If you have any suggestions for future content (not only toy-related) please let me know 🙂

Most TTL logic chips die at around 7volts and are rated for 5v operation. It's fun to see the current go high as the chip pops and then back to low levels when only the motor remains working

I’ve rigged some of my furbies to 6v adapters before. I mainly do it because that way they dance better without the weight of the batteries. I’d never overvolt mine, but it’s still very interesting to watch this. I’m surprised the motor was still operational with 25v.
