Genji - "Sol" from Norse mythology, sun Hanzo - "Mani" from Norse mythology, moon JQ - Hel from Norse mythology, the goddess of death LW - Ra' from Egyptian mythology, the sun god Reaper - Seth from Egyptian mythology, god of chaos Sigma - Krampus (not really a god, but still a mythological creature) Those are my guesses. I have no idea about the other ones. Maybe that Mauga resembles the ocean titan from Greek mythology, Okeanos. Orisa kind of looks like a Griffin from Harry Potter. And Brigitte looks like a barbarian.

I think the Alice in wonderland is the best. Here’s who I would pick for each role Tracer as the white rabbit (because she slippery and hard to find) Reaper as the Cheshire Cat (because he teleports and goes in and out of invisibility) Dva as Alice and Alice’s tree house (I don’t know actually) Junkerqueen as the queen of hearts (it just makes sense) Junk rat as mad hatter (junk rat is crazy and he traps people) I think all of these are good ideas. The last set of skins IS Norse mythology skins. The one for Mauga could be a skin resembling Hel and the Orisa skin is definitely similar to Nordic battle armor. Especially the Reaper skin, it looks like a wolf which in Norse mythology ties to Fenrir, the "offspring" of Loki, which may also be the skin for Rammatra.

these skins are made off the backs of salary artists - skins do not "cost hundreds of thousands of dollars".. Blizz combining the salaries of all of their artist team to sum up the cost of 1 asset they produce to justify obscene costs is super consistent with who they are. No other game charges what they do and it's 100% not because that money is going to the artist or devs.
