He saved Reinhardt and gave his life in exchange, so Reinhardt feels obligated to always answer the call, till the very moment he is going to, indirectly, repay his friend for this sacrifice. I may be reading too much into it, but that seems like a legit explanation, given Reinhardt's moral code and loyalty, as well as the fact the service in Overwatch is a great Honour for him.

Superman well I like to look at it as if the armor preserved his skin, so technically he should be mostly intact for the most part, the only thing that could affect him is air seeping into small holes in the armor.

A mans armor is his tomb, many a knight even if Old would be buried in his armor. Is a good death. Some would be cremated and have seeds placed within So life would come forth from their death, trees growing where Soilders took their rest.

If you want a shield for paint ball, I recommend the evike shield with the black out lining, buy 2, stack them up to your liking, use super glue or bolt the, and buy black spray paint to color it. I do it for airsoft with a pistol grenade launcher and it works like a charm. My shield is 5ft tall and 2ft wide, 1 shield is 3ft tall
