my main issue with this video is that the animated shorts are for the character, not necessarily for the characters game mechanics. its not that it "doesn't make sense", its purpose is not to service the games mechanics, its meant to service the character and their story. if the games mechanics were accurate to what is shown in the shorts, every character would be called overpowered and the entire game would be incredibly far from being balanced. overwatch is not just about the game, while most people play for the mechanics and gameplay, some people have stuck with it for so long because of the incredible stories and characters the game has.
