Totally agree, I always hear people complain about Genji and Bastion but Roadhog is the real devil in my eyes. An seemingly endless hook which is a one-hit kill basically and only has a cooldown of 6 seconds.... met a lot of camping roadhogs just waiting in a room for the chain to cooldown..

When Seagull ulted the first time it felt like it lasted longer than 6 seconds. I though i was crazy. Then i decided to rewind ( pun intented) to the moment he ults. I saw the 8 second timer and jizzed in my pants. I though they reverted the duration change and then i checked the description of the video. RIP in piece .

Its not really like the nerf changes the outcome at all. These are the instances affected by the nerf. First ult he gets delayed by an unclimbable wall, gets a kill in the last two secconds then goes on to say it wouldnt even matter if he didnt get the kill cause they traded his ult for zen ult. 4:30 cant tell if he used knife dash or if it was just right click dash thats so far the first mabye combo 7:08 Ult finishes killing his target before 2 seconds. 10:04 Ult everyone is dead before 6 seconds is up. 11:24 Ult only gets a stroke on zarya who was all alone from the extra 2 seconds.

idk why people are complaining that genji is done for because of the PTR. he's still very playable in the right hands. the only thing now is that you have to be more tactical when playing genji than before since his mobility and damage burst got nerfed. the point is that he's still good and playable if you're willing to adapt to his changes.

Genji feels about the same in ptr power wise. His ult usually wont solo wipe a team any more, but that's about it. The mobility and animation changes all make him feel clunky but dont really feel like much of a nerf.

Seagull explained it in the last video, but basically the loss in mobility(triple jump) is what makes him largely unviable. IIRC Seagull agreed that it was good they made his ult have less duration and he said that he didn't mind them not letting you animation cancel for the genji combo. But the biggest problem was the mobility.

Use the combo, fan,melee, swiftstrike, you can take on almost every hero in the game in a 1v1, try to bait heroes that can stop you into using their ability (i.e bait a McCree or Roadhog into using their flashbang or hook respectively and deflect it) for big targets use his burst fire, smaller targets use fan, you can cancel the deflect by swift striking incase someone's smart enough to stop shooting. Remember the map very well and memorize all the health packs, also use the triple jump (double jump onto a wall to start climbing, then jump off the wall for a triple jump). Don't try deflecting a torbjorn turrent, it's not worth it. Also double jump to make yourself unhittable.
