The goldfish thing is a festival activity in Japan. You fish for goldfish and theres some trick to it. I dont remember. Generally done by kids, but anyone who wants one gets it. They have farms for goldfish to support this. They give them to you in those little bags. Most of the time, they are pretty shocked by the whole transportation and shaking that they don't really come to their senses enough before they die. I have a friend though that had one for years. The sucker was massive. At least a foot long and coke can thick. Like my... well, lets keep this PG. but that thing was huge.
