As much as Chipsa is a meme about widow, his arguments do have fair points. Dive heroes like genji or doom needs to be able to kill a widow if they get the jump on her instead of them getting the jump and widow being able to escape with her grapple.

Why? She'd be unplayable that way. A Widow killing a diver is a very rare circumstance with grapple on CD and even with grapple if she chooses to take the duel rather then flee she'll still likely lose. It shouldn't have to be a death sentence for Widow every time a Genji wants to travel to Narnia to hunt her down. She would never be able to escape a Sombra, making Sombra a must pick every game and no one wants that. Also it would make it impossible for Widow to ever get to leave spawn if even a single person on the enemy wanted to spawn camp her. Widow is fine as is, 99.9% of people don't complain about her. Chipsa only bitches like he does cus he knows it'll give him views.

​@@akira3871 While I agree with some of your opinions, the way you worded your argument is as if Widow is against the entire enemy team by herself when that's not the case at all. If you factor in every other circumstance like good comms, what kind of environment the widow is placed in and of course under the hand of a good widow player she is quite formidable. Yes this goes the same for every single hero with those factors at hand but the reason why I resonate with what Chipsa is saying is because fundamentally the hero is able to do everything unlike other heroes. For example heroes like genji are very selective in how he dives because if he does and he doesnt get a reset off hes basically down to either jumping around and trying to desperately kill an enemy before he dies or trying to deflect bullets somehow miraculously killing someone and being able to dash off that. Same goes with doomfist, his strengths are hes really strong in terms of 100-0 someone but he has to be mindful of his combos because he too can die immediately because without any of his abilities he's a dead man. Now lets look at widow, if she gets dived if her reactions are fast enough she can easily avoid heroes like genji and doom by grappling away and then resetting at a location far away from those 2 (being mindful that genji has no more dash and thus cant keep up with her and doom has no more abilities because he has to use either slam or punch to run away). With your argument about sombra, its likely that she will spawn camp the widow but it's not like the widow is a bot running out of spawn mindlessly. Obviously hes gonna call out that "hey guys sombra's on me" or something along those lines. The thing about widow is she can easily kill any squishies if she times her headshot well. Most of the games ive seen/played if the enemy has a widow our team is forced to pick a widow because thats the only reasonable counter to it and vice versa. Sure you can play ashe, mccree or hanzo to pick her off but it'll take much more effort to kill the widow and in a game like overwatch, if widow manages to pick someone off or sometimes even more than that, thats an easy push for her team or thats an easy defense for her team. In conclusion I think widow should be nerfed for her weaknesses instead of her strengths like what Chipsa has said. It doesnt necessarily have to be the grapple, maybe the hp or her scope in time or her charge to get that one shot potential. It doesnt have to be all but it needs to be at least one of those.

@@mo7ammad_s242 Go to the leader board. Click on any Widow main (at least 10 hours on her this season). Check their deaths per 10 minutes. Then watch and OWL match. You'll see Widow dying left n right to Sombra, Tracer, Genji, Zen, Ana, etc. Both examples are the best widows In the world. If they can't constantly kill the divers then neither can 99% of the player base.

Only people complaining about Widow being "unkillable" are Doom mains. If you are Genji and are not killing her then you are just not good with Genji. It would be a ridiculous change to cater for people refusing to swap to another hero to properly counter and it's especially hilarious that it's Doom we are talking about, the hero that can jump into the middle of a team delete a character and fly away to safety, like nobody is going to have sympathy.
