Jordan, there is a Huge difference in the tutorials from the previous years to this one. Taking that extra day off to work on your art makes a huge difference. Joslyn Hrabak Hey! Just wanted to let you know that you can make your face cast at home if you want! You'll need aliginate to make a flexible mold of your face (a friend will have to help you). On top of that you will add wet plaster bandages to make a hard shell that will keep the aliginate from collapsing when you fill the mold. Next, you mix up some plaster and pour it into the mold, wait a few hours for it to cure and harden, then demold, and voila! Your very own face cast :) You can spray it with a coat of lacquer, paint it, or seal it in another way if you want and it will last much longer. Now you can sculpt on top of the cast and make your own prosthetics :) I learned how to do all of this just from watching KZbin videos. Search for "how to make a face cast" and watch a few videos until you find one that makes sense to you, have your assistant watch it too so they understand the process, gather your materials, and go for it! There are lots of different kinds of alginate and plaster combinations to choose from, most of which are available on Amazon. The only warning I have is please do not put plaster or plaster bandages directly on your face to create a mold. The alginate will cost you a little more but it's worth it not to burn yourself or damage your skin or eyes with plaster. I hope that helped, good luck and have fun!

Jordan, I love all of your videos!!!!! You are amazing! I'm a vary crafty person and I just wanted to shoot a hot glue gun tip your way after watch your beautiful widow maker look. When you get those glue strands on your pieces, just use a hair dryer to make them vanish. Just remember to let the piece set for just a minute after sense it will also heat up the glue that holds it together. 😀 much love your way! I can't wait to see what you have next!!!!!
