I was chilling at the flag with D.Va's Game On emote. Difference being, I actually got up and defended when they attacked, instead of staying sat down. We kept drawing cause nobody could capture either flag. Actually, I keep drawing all of them whatever I do.

I find it really easy to cap. Just draw the enemies in to push you as hard as they can. Then go in with Sombra and Winston on the backline. Then drop WInston bubble, Sombra grabs the flag, and rushes off like a maniac to cap while WInston goes to dive the enemy backline. That crushes the enemy team, letting your team push in to secure another cap. Alternatively don't bring a Winston. Go all bunkery, and let Sombra build EMP quickly. Then she sneaks in, shuts down all the turrets, and you dive together. Given Symmetra and the fact that damage is what resets flag capture progress, Winston is invaluable in this mode. He can spam down Sym turrets, protect a cap with his bubble, and then escape. He also does steady damage which makes him good at stopping enemy caps, and his leap makes him good for chasing enemies with the flag.
