ı think what they were trying to make is so that wearing lighter armor and stuff actually has a purpose because before a guy with Gen4 and full pikgrim pack could run nearly as fast as a guy with paca and Berkut half full so they are forceing people to wear and use lighter stuff in turn makeing lower caliber guns like 9mm 5.45 12gauge etc more usefull but we'll see how well it works after like 2 weeks

@7:42 Dropping the back pack is one of the first things done when operating the "3 lines principal". the third line is the back pack because it has non-essentials. the second line is the tac-rig because it should have combat necessities and the 1st line is what you wear on your body and in your pockets. In a survival or recon situation the 3rd line is dropped first because is has luxury items which are non essential in repelling an enemy or providing first aid.

Yep! They fixed a lot of performance problems this patch, but they just had to fuck it up! Literally all the game needed was better performance, more maps/content. Nobody complaining about realism.

i was literally thinking about this the other day after seeing a video about scout recon and the gear they carry they have to throw away bags when they engage in combat they toss their heavy camping gear in order to combat more effectively. i feel like people are going to have to slow things down and plan engagements more and toss/stash their gear before they get into a fight then loot goblin it out the raid.

They are going to add comfortability which means that having shit in your backpack will lower the weight effect which makes sense. 20kg item will not act as a 20kg in the backpack. FUCKIN SUCKS THEY DIDNT ADD IT TOGETHER WITH THE OVERWEIGHT RIGHT?! I mean I can live with what we got but it is literally hilarious when I walk like a guy with fractured legs as a reward for taking down and looting a whole squad

With the added weight penalty people will loot less things. Less things looted means more things left behind and deleted. This will drive the price of equipment through the roof.

Carny SNB is literally one of the worst rounds to use is in the mosin.. it has great PEN value but it does less then 80 damage so it won’t one shot chest shot a thorax.. use LPS or 7N1

I played the game right after the update launched. Had 57 Kg as well with the 60 kg limit. 1 rig, 1 helmet, 1 mosin, headphones and my normal loadout with armor rig helmet gun and headphones. My gun wobled like i was limbing. It actually was exactly like I was limbing. Actually got me motionsick pretty fast. In my 12 years of playing games, only Tarkov managed to get me motionsick.

well i leveled my stats legit this patch. im not doing another 700 hours of shoreline loot runs to get it back. also theres been some tests with ppl with maxed strength already by cheesing it and it hardly makes a noticeable difference.

I had been practicing offline with an SA-58 to get more comfortable with it. I looked at the weight today and my loadout would be 39kg with an empty backpack....just, blah. Add another mag and I'd be debuffed without looting a single thing. So, MP7 it is. That dropped me down to 23kg.

I know it’s hard to equate gun damage in a video game. But that Mosin round in real life. 7.62 x 54 My buddy was shooting straight through railroad ties at 20 yards with that thing. It’s a nasty round dude. The Mosin is no joke man.

I think once we level up our stamina and strength again it will be fine. I think adrenaline is going to be a lot more meta now though for extracting.

@@justin8708 They did a hot patch today and its much better. Its still a factor but not as extreme I did a labs raid and ended up at 72kg and was able to sprint for short durations and regain stamina. Escape no problem.

Well, think of it like this : an average soldier would probably weigh around 150 - 210 lbs [ 68 kg - 95 kg ] and the average strength/endurance would require them to carry up to 80 lbs [ 36 kg] of equipment for a long period of time on patrols. [ Includes rig, plate carrier, backpack, ammo, and possibly rations and medkits. ] Carrying upwards of 100 - 160 lbs of extra loot [ 45 kg - 72 kg ] for maybe like a whole raid time would be incredibly straining when you have to run, get into firefights, etc. Tl;dr : Yes there may be some over-the-top debuffs, but I probably wouldn't be able to carry a human body's worth of stuff and run/jump for a long period of time and NOT get winded.

You know, this might actually be a good thing. Think about it, fewer terminators, more insurance returns, and even hatchet runners get penalized because they won't be able to sprint to extract with all the loot they snatch. This might fix the ingame economy.

See, I think what's happened is they set out to make a super realistic shooter obviously, and they are so stuck in that vision that they are blind to what makes the game great. Everything is getting more and more meta based, rather than focusing on improving what they got right. This just helps out people going in with no gear, and not rewarding people for playing risky.
