This is making me emotional. I am disabled and I have 2 neurodivergent children. Myself and my husband are both neurodivergent too yet I am expecting myself to manage the same as all the other parents at school. My husband does a lot but works on a demand basis because he has so little time. So we never feel organised. It is stressing me out daily and making me so depressed that whatever I do, I just never get there. I just wish there was advice out there for people in our situation because it is so common for disabled parents to also be under immense pressure to manage a home when they just can't. We just feel like failures and there is very little support out there x

Thank you for sharing. I only realised this idea last year when I had 2 children under 2, working full time and trying to finish a masters. I am pleased to say I saw it through and completed my study and kept my job and my kids are alright! But I have learnt not to over commit and accept the time of life I am in and I won’t be committing anymore study or extra work.

Thank you! I am 41, my son is 16 months, I have a horse, a big house and I am starting my Coaching Business at the moment. It is a lot! Plus…I have not been getting more than 2 hours of sleep at a time since he was born. My husband is working full time and helping me with the housework. But it is still a lot.

Thank you so much for that. Was trying to find on the Patreon a clip to help keep me focused on cooking dinner. Couldn’t find it so moved to this. I honestly don’t know my era but things keep pointing me towards focusing in on this stage of my life. Thank you! Running a business with 5 kids, 3 new dogs and an old dog is hard going!

I wish I had heard this a long time ago. I would have been able to focus on one area rather than feel like a failure in lots of areas

Please could you advise what to do with TOMM when you’re unwell. I’ve been taken down by the lurgy this week and I’ve fallen behind completely with my cleaning. Do I just start again when I’m better or try and do some over the weekend?

Advice from a mum of two here. See if any family members or friends can help you pick up the slack in exchange for u minding their kids next week or baking them a wheaten etc and just you start again when u r better xx

I would say just do the level 1s on the weekend and start again when you're better. X

I would say just keep up with the priority jobs but only if you feel well enough. Have a complete break if needs be and jump straight back in x
