Thanks for the thorough video, so much good info here. At 18:30 your Begonia 'Torsa' is similar to another hardy begonia you probably know, Begonia grandis, i.e. Begonia evansiana. Most plants have pink flowers, but you can purchase one with white flowers. Leaves are smaller than your 'Torsa'. Here in Zone 6b in mid-Atlantic United States, it is fully hardy. Once established it spreads well, probably thanks mostly to the bulbils that it forms at the nodes.

An impressive mine of information delivered so clearly and in such minute detail. So many gardening videos are full of irrelevant razzmatazz. A few months ago I asked you about my muse lasiocarpa which I thought was dead and you said give it a few more weeks. I did and its flourished. Its in a pot and about four foot high. I might put it in a cold room in the house. Question : Why don’t you chop off the leaves like you do with outdoor ones? A couple of niggles : “Party Time “! That can’t be the name of that plant.And one begonia was Torson (I know because you answered a question but the other one ? I didn’t catch the name. Looking forward to the next overwintering video.

Glad it recovered and doing well. I would leave the leaves on over winter unless they age and turn yellow. The Begonia featured is Torsa. Thanks for watching😀

Hi Kris, I live in zone 8a in Texas. I have 2 small red banana plants. I want to take them inside this winter, but I want to remove any outdoor bugs. How do you prep your outdoor plants before you bring them inside for the winter?

Hi Kris. If you get any extra bulbils on the begonia 'Torsa'. I would love to buy some. I've been looking for that variety for 3 years now. I can't find them offered in the states.

Hi Kriss! Echium Pininana - how do you keep it in pot during winter first season plants.
@YorkshireKRIS2 жыл бұрын
Echiums can take light frosts so I'd leave seedlings in a frost free greenhouse if possible or anywhere where temps won't dip too much below 0⁰c
