But I completely disagree with you about Ben and Devi’s relationship. Ben was honest about his feelings. He broke up with Shira when he realized his feelings for Devi. He said he was all in from the start. Devi played him and humiliated him when she chose to go after Paxton. He was rightfully angry at her and he ended up liking Aneesa. With Margot, same thing. He thought that he and Devi weren’t good for each other because of that basketball dude. He became a shitty boyfriend to them because he couldn’t help his feelings for Devi. Ben and Devi were pretty much best friends when they forget that they’re supposed to be enemies. They had great banter and chemistry. They pushed each other to be better since they were kids. Ben was the one who always encouraged her and supported her. He’s the one who told her to fix the situation with Aneesa, ask Des out, and write the essay for Princeton. I think if anything they would have a healthy relationship. They’re equals. Devi was confident and fully herself with him while she was insecure when she was with Paxton. No one understands Devi the way he does. Being with Ben in college will benefit them both since they make each other better academically. Plus Ben wants to be a lawyer and Devi wants to be a Supreme Court Justice. Their future goals are compatible. They could be endgame all the way through.

When i started watching this series, I was on Team Ben. Yes, he was always mean to Devi and always brought his true competitive side but overtime I started to like his character more as he show more of his true personality. When Paxton was also in the picture, I had a hard time choosing and although I was on Team Paxton, I had a feeling it was going to Ben at the very end of this series knowing there was going to be a build up. I don't know how they pull this off but the ending to this series made it perfect by closing a chapter in Devi's life. While I'm sad for Paxton, that talk with Devi despite it didn't work out in a relationship, they somewhat put a closure on them and to remain friends. I'm going to miss this series!!

I love the parallels between Ben and Devi's relationships with other people that lead them towards getting together. They both have the opposites attract relationship that somehow works but is not forever (Paxton and Margot), the 'popular' kid with barely any personality (Ethan and Shira), the one time hook up (at the fundraiser) and the 'good', stable relationship that ends because the other one wants them to change too much (Aneesa and Des). I think it just adds so much to their character development because they both had to go through so many similar experiences to be mature enough and ready for their relationship to work!

Ben loved Devi for all she was and that love was never shaken since season 1 no matter what he knew about Devi..but paxton only liked Devi because she was different and confident and pushed him not because he actually loved her..there wasnt that depth…ben unconditionally loves Devi and Devi is never gonna find someone like Ben…and ben is never gonna love someone more than he loves Devi…but paxton would…and Devi had an obsession with paxton just cause of looks it was not based in true love like ben’s love towards Devi was…and so that obsession comes from subconscious issues with Devi that she needed to heal and when she did she realised that she never really loved Paxton, and the only reason they stayed friends is because of all of the history and them actually supporting eachother and Devi helping Paxton etc…but if Devi never approached Paxton at all then after she healed she would’ve just never had Paxton in her life cause there would be reason too after she realized she does not actually love him and nothing actually happened between them for them to stay friends or anything…so nothing beats team ben…that kind of love is rare especially in high school for someone to love you and everything about you and no matter what flaws you think you have their love never wavers it only strengthens, that kind of love is once in a lifetime and so team Devi and ben for life and for sure they will stay together even after college and maybe for the rest of their lives..they might have fights or end up with different careers but they would always find their way back to each other because simply they would never be able to find that kind of love or forget it… Also Paxton and Devi were more of a karmic relationship like it existed just to teach them lessons about themselves so that they can heal quicker and that “romance” wasn’t really real because it was just there until they realised the lessons and healed after that the romance dissipated…and they remained friends which is the healthy ending to such relationships so that both can move on with pure hearts without starting another karmic cycle for themselves

Paxton was a phase and she was impressed by him! That's all in my opinion, they are better as friends and i loved their last Scene so much! Ben was always in her heart especially this was clear in the last Season and he is the one who always cared about her so much from season 1 with many situations! I think the ending was Very satisfying and logical.

I liked Devi with Paxton in the beginning but i just loved Ben at the end of Season 1. How he got Devi to make it to the beach to spread her dad's ashes. It was a huge gesture and since then I wanted these two to be end game. Although the two were academic rivals, Ben always cared about her despite her imperfections. Their banter just made it even more interesting. So soo happy and satisfied with Season 4 ending.

yes that was me also, i liked paxton in the first episodes, but when they went to the event and tried to get alcohol together, i started to like them together till the end of season 1 which made me want them to be endgame, Ben is the cutest out of all of them
