Your friend is really going all out to provide the best for the group and he may have packed overzealously. As an old Navy guy, I would recommend lowering the center of gravity as much as possible because visually the trailer is slow to right indicating it is top heavy. Thanks for a great video and wish blessings for future travels together.

That looked like a great trip! Two things to always remember, especially in the desert. First, rattle snakes are territorial. They will return after being moved, so move them farther than you think is sufficient. And then move them a bit further. Second, rocks are too stupid to realize that they caused a problem, and they never move out of the way. So, it's best to always be smarter and quicker than "that stupid rock." Thanks for bringing us along! That food looked amazing and smelled even better! :)

Man i love watching you do what you do brother. My set up isn't nearly as fancy as i have a Jeep WJ and a homebuilt squaredrop trailer, but im also not looking for the most radical off-road trails and steepest obstacles. For me its simply the freedom to get away and explore new places and to see the magnificence of nature in a way that most people never will. Im also a disabled veteran (USMC Ooh-fucking-RAH) so i do require a few more creature comforts that others might not. My ultimate goal is to transition into full time overland lifestyle once I'm able to better afford it. My son (who is nearly 11 now) and i have already taken a few epic trips down to Baja, to Mexico City, and up to Prudhoe Bay/Dead Horse Alaska. Trips that wouldn't have been possible for me without a trailer. The ultimate goal for us is to circle the globe with our rig and to see as much of the world as we possibly can. I currently live in the woods in Alabama but still have my old house i grew up in just outside of New Orleans. The plan is to lease/rent out both houses to provide income for the trip. Perhaps if our paths ever cross. Ill buy you a beer as thanks for being part of the inspiration that got the ball rolling! And that cook book looks awesome! Ill definitely be getting one and perhaps ill collect some recipes to share for the next one! God bless brother and semper fi!

Hey buddy great video! I just want to suggest to you that you mite want to get a frog gig. That was a pretty big rattler you moved and I Thank GOD he wasn't aggressive cause he would've had a good reach on him. I'm glad he cooperated with you! But if you get a frog gig and you run into a aggressive snake you can gig him and once you gig him he is yours and not going anywhere. Then you can do what you want with him safely and not get bit but of it was aggressive your pole could be bad for you! I've had many gigs in my life and make my own handles for frogs nut I got one at Walmart and it's perfect. It has 4 tines and it's bout 4 to 5 inches wide and that's what you want. If you get one thats bout 6 to 8 inches wide your tines are to far apart and a smaller snake can go between the tines and you could miss him. The Walmart gig comes with a real light metal handle that telescopic out about 10 to 12 ft where you don't have to get close. And if it's calm like the one you got you can lay the gig flat and pick it up like you did. I was getting 4 to 6 copperhead at least evert year at my home and once in my home and when that happens you don't play and one of us has to go! And one more thing you put that rattler in the rocks but at night when it gets cool they will come back out in the open or lay on a road cause it's warmer to stay warm so think bout that next time buddy especialy it willbe dark most of the time when they come back out. I Pray this willbe a help to yall and others! Sorry my text is long! Yall take care and Happy Trails my friends!

In my younger days, I managed a cattle feedlot. I was fairly new at hauling a cattle trailer. I was using an old one ton GMC pickup to pull a 32 ft. goose neck stock tailer with nine fat steers weighing about 1,050 lb. each on board. I turned too short making a right-hand turn and clipped a city light pole. I radioed my boss and when he arrived in a few minutes all he said was "looks like you had a little problem". I was afraid he was going to fire me. I worked for him for 3 yrs. and he never mentioned it to me.

It's so good! simple recipe! You need Chipotle ( a can of chipotle in adobo works ), Mexican sour cream, cream cheese, heavy cream ( to adjust the consistency of sauce ) pour a block of cream cheese, a couple of spoonfuls of sour cream, 2-3 chipotles and a adobo in the blender, add heavy cream until you get the consistency that you want, add salt and blend. cook the shrimp in olive oil and butter, add the blended sauce, cook together for a couple of minutes, serve with avocado.
