Ovulation testing with Clear Blue and Pre Mom

This was the month everything changed. We are so excited!!
I used Clear Blue ovulation tests only last month and when we were trying to conceive our Charlie but this month I wanted to try Pre Mom as you all recommended it so much.
I definitely found Pre Mom harder to understand but I think it takes a few months, whereas Clear Blue is very user friendly.
Motherhood is so amazing to me and I am so excited to become a family of 5.

Congratulation beautiful woman! So happy for you and your family. This reminds me that TTC is completely not how you’re told growing up. You’re told don’t have sex because you’ll get pregnant immediately. 7 years later, failed rounds of medication and still going through fertility, it isn’t easy. Ovulation and testing isn’t easy even for someone who does have regular cycles and natural periods, let alone some of us who don’t. We just had our first IUI fertility procedure and are mid our 16 day wait, so id love to be able to have a positive outcome like you. But either way is women have to support each other and I agree, it is hard when hormones and emotions are involved. Sending you so much love 🤍

Congratulations! I used the app for nearly a year before finally buying the premom kit and using it everyday. Pregnant right away that month! The app was estimating my ovulation as wayyyy off. Hope you’re feeling well!!

Premom is not that hard to use. All you have to do is dip the stick count to nine pull the stick out lay the stick flat for five min. Take the picture and the app does the rest. I'm not sure why she was confused or why was so hard for her but the pre mom app has been easy for me. And reading the numbers has definitely helped because clear blue gives you a :-) but pre mom gives you a peak number

I use Ovulation sticks AND the Clue app and I will say I know you had a poor experience with Clue but for me personally I find that the Clue app is REALLY accurate to my Ovulation. Currently trying for baby number 2. Wish me luck 🤞🤞🤞

You were the first person I told I was pregnant in March 2022 :) I had just taken the test and was watching your TikTok live and had to tell you! I now have an almost 6 mo old baby girl :) I believe the clear blue gives a smiley face just before ovulation. Because you are likely to get pregnant up to 3 days before you actually ovulate because of the way sperm stays in our system (gross). Hope that helps make sense with your pre mom 5/6 ovulation date prediction. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Congratulations! 🎉🎉 I think from my own experience that if fertility isn't too much of an issue and you just need a simple yes/no answer as to whether it's the right time to baby dance, the clearblue are great. However, for people like me who do struggle a bit when TTC, it's got to be the easy at home tests. I found I needed the accuracy they offer and they are much more cost effective which is a consideration when it takes over a year to conceive. Once I'd got my head around them they were fine to use as well! Anyway, congratulations again! So pleased for you!

I’m in the uk and I used those strip ones they aren’t difficult..I didn’t use an app I just knew I was ovulating when both lines were the same darkness ..and I got pregnant straight away..I used the pre seed too but I was doing home insemination so I had one shot a month and it took 3 months ..my daughters now 7 :)

Congrats!! As an FYI for those wanting to use the easy@home sticks, it’s recommended to do them a couple of times a day as your surge can happen any time and go down quickly. I usually did like 9AM and 1PM.

I love my premom app and easy at home strips, but I will admit it took me quite a few cycles to understand what was going on. It's really good if you are trying to track your hormones to ensure everything is all good. It detects surges and lack of surges to help in diagnosing hormonal issues. Edit** Lack of how it works does not make it bad. A little more complicated, yes.
