I think Sphere of Destruction's greatest utility will be that it says "4 or more" and not "more than 4", because you can knock everyone (except ToP, Zamasu, and the mirror) down to 4 when they would want to flip and start actually defending their life and go "lol no go down to 3" before they can even awaken. imagine doing it to Broly and then they have to go down to 2 to awaken. now THAT'S over

Ironically Jiren is the weakness in the Jiren deck. Definitely needs another Jiren SR effect in another card, otherwise the opponent just needs to ensure they have an answer for the 4 drop jiren when it hits play to neutralize it, making that card the weak point holding up the deck. I want it to be good and am looking forward to seeing how it plays as is!

@alsimmons3567 That one is HARD! I'm still digesting these Leaders as I make these videos. I can tell you I don't believe it'll be Jiren or Majin Buu lol. But Piccolo, Goku, GT Goku and Bardock show promise. Looks look almost all the old leaders got support too so I'll be working it out the best I can. My patreon will get my takes earlier tho!

@@UniXTCG I mean you would have to use effects to remove a 4 or more twice in a turn which wouldnt realistically happen untill turn 6, at which point the opponent might just have 3 jirens and be negating 3 attacks and drawing 6 cards per turn which means you lose. Also if both of these effects triggers on attack, like with double pan for instance, the opponent can just activate his jiren early and draw 2 cards before it gets removed, since the 4 drop can activate his effect in any battle, not just with the leader. Otherwise you would have to defeat it in battle which means you would have to hit it at 30 once then outcombo your opponent on a 30 base character. The opponent would in this scenario activate the jirens' effect and draw 2 cards for every copy of jiren he has on the field making it super easy to defend every turn. Even if they feel like they cant defend it the opponent can just draw 2 cards for each one and call it a day. The only option left would be to hit the leader with all your swings but with a battle card that negates any attack in the turn and draws you 2 cards for each copy youre never gonna outvalue an 25k base leader that way. Jiren the way it is rn is already gonna cheese at least a third of the decks out of the metagame (like the 2 best green decks and the entirety of the color yellow, since they have literally no way to deal with jiren spam) and your solution to the problem was to make it so jiren could only lose to red.

@Bamilok in hindsight, I can see it being an issue if you had to double swing or remove it. So the protection from removal would likely be too strong. That being said, currently your entire deck revolves around seeing a single SR in your deck and that feels awful. Hopefully we just get more cards that can trigger his effect in set 3

Uhhhhh anybody who wants to play Jiren, but actually wants to take it to a competitive scene.... like me lmao. Like the way it looks to be, I'm gonna build it 100%, but I can't take it to a regional and expect it to do well T_T

I just hope it’s really good against green. I feel blue this set only got a few good cards, but I think if red yellow and black can oppress green then as a blue player myself I feel I’m in a great place. I am curious to see if jiren effect works if you boost an ally to 30k during battle. Like if your getting double striked by vegeta for game after they bottomed your 4c jiren. Can you glimpse another card on the field to 30 only take 1 damage instead of 2, draw 2 cards because of leader effect and get a card from glimpse going +3 and surviving lethal

I'm so sad because it feels like it's missing 3 cards or so. So it's probably gonna be good next set. I think Jiren SR should've had Once per turn this card cannot be KO'd or removed from the field by effect. And good god the Toppo should've interacted with the Leader was well. Lastly I would've liked Dyspo dealing you a damage to keep it on the board
