I'm in shock to this day how he got away with that. And if anyone was wavering about his character, the way he pretended to be injured to take focus away from the incident was terrible and then he got up and jumped around with joy when he realised he got away with it. Disgraceful.

Owen Farrel only tackles one way.....even when he is bumped, he is still trying to shoulder charge his opponent. I don't know how anyone that tackles like that can make it this far in world rugby, let alone play in the England squad. But I guess England is desperate.

I never quite know what's worse: his inability to tackle legally, the commentators complete lack of understanding a legal tackle or the referees for consistently allowing it.

How has his tackling technique not changed in all these years? He so often goes high, sometime legally, but miserably fails to actually tackle anyone. All those clips showing hum getting bumped off are mainly because his position is so bad. Of course there are times when your are just flattened by a bigger guy; that's inevitable but conversely there are countless examples of little guys taking down big guys with good tackling technique. It's really hard to come away from this with any other opinion that he really does seem out to inflict harm on the opposition. When you not only lead with the shoulder but throw it in with force to the head, what other conclusion is there? Yes, he's disliked because he's abrasive and of course being English will garner some opposition but ultimately he is thoroughly disliked because he seems intent on injuring other players.
