Jerry got close enough to Owen right at that very tragic exact moment to give more actual details about Owen, as opposed to Jim's more emotional reaction to what he saw but didn't exactly see. It is harder to hear Jerry. Not knocking him at all but I think Jerry is a little less emotional of a person than Jim is too. It all sucks but I wish we could've heard the rest of what he was the King was saying.

I don't care how sad he is. Not after the way he had the nerve to try go publicly guilt trip Martha into letting WWE put her dead husband into their bogus internet hall of fame, & spouting bullcrap that it is Oje's (Owen's son) "birthright" to see his father put into this idiotic HOF. She has EVERY right to not want WWE to exploit Owen for profit, & that is the ONLY reason they actually want to celebrate him, & Oje's "birthright" is to live life to the fullest, & follow his dreams to make his father proud, which he has been doing. It isn't his "birthright" to go to some phony ceremony filled with McMahon loving sycophants sucking up to him while they get to make money off his dead father. Owen is also in other hall of fames, but Mark Henry doesn't care about those. Screw him.

The Owen death was horrible, and of course affected the whole roster, so being emotional is the normal response; but, even if it sounds crass, i just love how deep mark Henry is. He really feels things. Of course it saddens him to hear about his friend's passing, but i just like how he seems to be a very contemplative guy. Any show i see or hear him on he's just always so frank and honest and emotional about stuff. He really wears his heart on his sleeve and i love that about him.

I literally just watched JR telling Conrad this right before I clicked this video. They said "You're gonna be giving an update on Owen." "I haven't got an update." "Jim, Owen's dead...and we're on in" proceeds countdown. Ugh, I remember watching it back then. As soon as JR and the King came on the screen I was startled by the look on Jerry's face. I never saw him look anything like that. Then JR said the words. My brother and i just looked at each other, jaws on the floor. Then we tried to figure out if it was for real, but Jerry's face told the truth. I can't imagine being in JR's boots at that moment. Respect

The WWE HOF is only a pathetic internet page driven only by greed & profit. Martha has every right to not want WWE to exploit her dead husband for profit, which is the only reason why they want to "honor" him anyway. WWE were negligent in this accident by wanting the quick release set up which they knew wasn't safe. On top of all that, they treated Martha like garbage, & for the last 20 years, have portrayed her as the bad guy. WWE have never accepted any responsibility. All they have done is play the blame game. Martha has allowed other hall of fames to induct him, & has worked with AEW to honor him. She did allow Acclaim to put him in two of the Legends of Wrestling video games years ago, & since the Dark Side of the Ring episode, there has been new merchandise made available. Its you fans that need to let it go about WWE's BS hall of fame.
