Who wouldn't feel that wat if they are preparing for their wedding and answer a voicemail with their future spouse getting it in with their supposed ex and hearing about plans to run away together. Miss me with that. Any time Owen has been offended he had a reason. Also even when he has been wrong Owen has ALWAYS put forth an effort to atone for his mistakes. He knows how to put his pride and ego to the side to get better. Relationship wise yes he made alot of mistakes but so did his partners and in my opinion they were harder to deal with than him! Yet he still made every effort and concession to be there and deal with whatever drama, because he knew he wasn't perfect himself. However, Owen went through his own ptsd and didn't realize he was still struggling with it until his sister talked some sense into him and brought it to his attention. People seem to find any way or reason to excuse Christinas complete selfishness and Amelias crazy and blame Owen. That baffles me. I gained respect for Owen as a person when he first had a run in with Mark and Derek about his methods to treating patients. When he stapled a guys forehead and Mark almost had an aneurysm. They came at him real life crazy but he took that and didn't get angry he said "tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it". Which gave them pause and they realized. Okay he isn't a complete Jerk he is willing to learn new methods and take advice which is more than any of them would have or have EVER done without drama or bitching. Owens character is a good person and I hate when people act like he is just horrible. He puts his feelings and emotions to the side the most. Also I LOVE Christinas character but recognize her flaws. Same with Amelia. Doesn't make them right all the time.

He sat with Cristina for her abortion, he married Amelia even though she was late and he is forgiving Teddy and reconciling with her. Always team Owen. His only flaw was trying to get Cristina to have a kid. Everyone is flawed and so is he.

What happened to him was something that even the most calm person would go berserk for. But you see it WASN'T ALL about Owen. Did you think Teddy cheated on Owen because of Owen? Did you think Amelia walked out on Owen because of Owen? Did you think Cristina preferred to be child free because of Owen? Everything wasn't and isn't about Owen. Let's focus on Teddy and Owen since the scene was all about them. I'm not trying to justify Teddy being the cheater, ok? But Teddy cheated because she couldn't cope with her trauma that even she didn't realize it until only when it was slapped in her face. Cheating is never gonna be valid and Teddy resorted to it any other way. Owen took his time to process that it wasn't just entirely about him. He was cheated on but that person who cheated on him was the same person whom he had known since time immemorial. He came thru. So i'm proud of him for that. For coming through and finally seeing that not everything is about him. I didn't say that how he got mad and got hurt are wrong. And Owen may have the tendency to make everything about himself but Owen always came thru.
