Since the Oct intifada, I have become more aware of the colonialist-indigenous power dynamics. It really shows me the nuance of attitude, wealth, information, technology, privileges, laws, and exceptionalism of northern citizens relative to how southern citizens are treated. Even benevolent religious beliefs or world organizations are infected. WOW!

Just read in the intercept that the US congress just passed an amendment to the pentagon budget, that prohibits funding of rebuilding Gaza. It’s appalling. The provision was introduced by three republicans. One is former IDF Brian Mast.
