Right now, all people can do is wait for Craneburg to finish this project. The problem is that projects in Iboland are started without public consultation. As a result, people wake up and see structures springing up in their neighbourhood. They respond with an avalanche of complaints and criticisms when the projects are already at an advanced stage. To avoid this happening in future, government should advertise all proposed projects in public places- libraries, LG offices, lamp posts etc. and invite comments. This way, they can find out roughly what people expect. And this is why a city like Owerri needs a mayor.

Meanwhile, Anambra state already has four mega cities and is creating more. Very soon, Anambra will start its Anambra Mixed-Use Industrial City project, which will be situated on 4000 hectares of land.
