Don't listen to those haters.. telling you to stop talking... DONT! What your doing is perfect for beginners because we need step by step, descriptive details on how to do this! Ive been balloon twisting for a few months now and thankfully, I'm catching onto it quickly.. I was looking for easy tutorials to guide me and I came across a few that were helpful HOWEVER these people have been doing it for some time and I don't think they realise that they tend to be less descriptive at times because they are just so use to doing it... anyway, your tutorials are very nice for people that are just learning how to do this.. the more you talk about what to do and how to do it, the better... I cant stand watching these videos where the people just twist away without saying how to do it or they give little details and assume that we might know what they are doing... anyway.. please, post more of your animals.. they are very cute and easy.. Ive been looking for a nice owl to do for a while now and haven't bothered with any of the others; I did your owl for a little girl for her birthday today and it was a HUGE hit!!!!... I live in Canada, in Northern Ontario and I cant find many of the animals that are native to where I live.. which would be a wolf, black bear or a bald eagle, a lynx or a moose.. beaver??? Any of those would be AWESOME.. Ill be looking forward to your next post! Thanks

I'll try to get another video up soon I have been meaning too but lagging since I got my wedding coming up and keeping me busy. Absolutely love your design and the tutorial! Can I ask a beginner's question: what brand and where do you buy those 160 or 260 balloons? It seems that the ones that I have are substantially shorter than yours. I could only get half of the body done with one 160... Thanks!

+Joanne Huang Totally forgot to mention that good point! I use all Betallatex balloons, they are longer, better colored and stronger than qualatex and the convenience store brands. Down side is they can be more difficult to pump up and work with just because they are tougher, upside to that is less popped balloons. Sadly they are not popular and very hard to find. I get mine from continentalsales.com (CA distributor) but even they don't sell the complete line. (maybe if more requests are put in we can get them back!) I'd say try and get a bag to test, look around online. If no luck just try stretching the balloons you got and make every twist smaller.

O but avoid the metallic/pearl colors if you get some Betallatex balloons. Their deluxe and fashion colors are the best, the metallic ones are extremely tough to work with.

Its the type of balloon. I mention it in my supplies video. Qualatex is shorter than what I use, Betallatex.

Try stretching the ballon more before hand, and smaller proportions but you may have to just add another part way through

I love your owls. two things, can you hold your balloon creation still instead of moving them around while you are talking so we can get a better look of your work...(plz don't take this as a negitive...I mean it as a positive so we can see better. lol) Also are you using Betalatex or Qualitex 260's?...Your 260 seems a lot longer...thank you so much for sharing.
