Hello Nanniej and Thom! I love your video. Great explanation, and you're so cute, too! ;) I just made two owls for a double baby shower, and they turned out so cute. I had to modify the ears though, because my receiving blanket was longer than yours and the wings didn't work right. What I did was make little ears out of the blanket by crimping and rubber-banding the blanket just where each ear would be, then just putting the socks over them. No pipe cleaner needed! I also made a bow from the wide ribbon and tucked it under the blanket at the top of the head, between the eyes, to hide the rubber bands that were showing. So cute! I just changed my KZbin photo so you can see how they turned out. :) Anyway, thanks so much!

I used a skillet with vertical sides ... you could also use a round cake pan. Worked great. :)
