Owl Vans Tire Ladder Installation

We installed the Owl Vans Tire Ladder onto our Winnebago Revel and added some Havelock Wool for insulation into the rear door cavity while it was open. Thanks to instructions we followed from Owl Vans, it was pretty easy to do. Don't be afraid. DO IT YOURSELF!!!

It's nice to have this ladder and a side ladder so you can access both sides. I'm putting a box on top so I can access it from the back or side.

Great install vid, bookmarked. I think I’ll be installing this Owl carrier/ladder combo on our Sprinter. Doesn’t look too involved. Yes cutting and drilling while nerve racking are part of a van conversion. Measure 3 times, take your time don’t get in a hurry, have a second set of eyes, think!

I'd put something like a metal sealer/primer on the raw metal holes so rust doesn't get a foothold. No pun intended!

Totally true. We sprayed the holes with rustoleum. Hope that does the trick.

Nicely done!! Does your GLSS lagun table get in the way of lowering the bed all the way down?

I lower the table before I lower the bed. Not a big deal.
