Recently I have been a real jerk to my parents and ungrateful for everything they have done for me. This song made me realize how much they have done for me and how much they mean to me, and I now appreciate them so much more and I will make sure to never forget to tell them I love them. This is why I love Adam's music, it is so meaningful and moving and it helps me so much. Whenever I am feeling down I listen to his music and can't help smiling. I can not express in words fully how thankful I am for Adam's music.

BreBreGaming I've been there all too many times, nevertheless, we all need take time to appreciate everything our family and friends do for us and tell them you love them, because I also know all too well what its like for someone that you never fully took the time to cherish and tell them thanks or I love you, and then just like that their gone all too fast. Oh no I'm crying now. Yep

Honestly I don't think he's underrated, I think that he's appreciated for the wrong reasons. His music is massively creative, and all that he gets ratings for is his techno-dance-pop music and catchy hooks. It's dumb. Songs like The Real World, Plant Life, Technicolor Phase, and The Tip of the Iceberg have unending creativity and inspiration behind them. It's a weird niche, but it's a great one.

I just love every song you create Adam, some are childish, some are deep, some are lessons, some are about your personal life and loved ones, and some are about your faith. Each one is so honest and so pure, you can easily feel identified with lyrics that being so simple make you feel so much. That's why I love your music, it is what you actually want it to be and that makes it astonishingly wonderful!

At first, I assumed it would be acoustic version of the song and the lyrics would be the similar. Adam does a little different with this one. Oh how ironic the 'little' sounds right now. The words he sang are heavy even any human would be reluctant to voice out. I couldn't understands how he able to made this without shed a tear. I frankly felt heavy sentiment and cries as seem I seldom and longed for due to struggle of life. I am truly grateful in able to listen to your song, Adam

@meghna3096 жыл бұрын
How on the earth do you know that he hadn't shed a single tear while he wrote or performed this? Don't write such ignorant things behind the screen for such an incredible artist. He probably would have cried a lot. The lyrics are too sentimental not to get emotional with. After all he wrote them himself. It's just that he was a braveheart that he was able to perform it in one go. And in that too, you can realize at various places his voice cracked due to the overwhelming sentiment he was going through with. Though I'm late I'd like you to edit your comment ASAP.

Certainly makes me want to run and hug my parents and tell them I love them while I still have the chance. I know all too well that one day they'll be gone. I don't think I'll ever be ready for it but I hope they at least know I love them. We owe our parents everything.

This version of the 5th of July really connects with me. My Grandpa, who is now in the presence of Jesus in Heaven, suffered a major heart attack late on the 4th of July. On the 5th of July, we (his entire family) gathered around his bed and shared with him what we loved about him the most (he was in a coma). On the 6th of July, we sang him to Heaven where he'll never be heartbroken again. Thank God we DID take advantage of the many opportunities we had to tell him how much we loved him, and how much he means to us. He knew that he was loved, not just by us, but by his Father. Every life is precious! I encourage all to take time out of your day to let your family know that you love them. Those words are simple to say, but they carry a LOT of meaning!

I almost cried...thank you for this Adam. Always remember that if your parents didn't love you, they wouldn't've made you. And even if those parents of yours aren't biologically related, they wouldn't've adopted you if they didn't love you.

July 5th, of 1986~the day you were welcomed into this world~is sincerely such an important day to me, as I know that it is to many, many others.
