Un spectacle de vol d’oiseaux de proie a été offert aux visiteurs du parc Frédéric-Back par des fauconniers de Environnement Faucon (Faucon Educ).
Durant les spectacles, les fauconniers, ayant une formation en biologie, ont pu démystifier ces chasseurs du ciel en faisant prendre conscience de leur fragilité et de l’importance dans la biodiversité.
A birds of prey flight show was offered to visitors to Frédéric-Back Park by falconers from Environnement Faucon and will have birds flying above people's heads.
It was also possible to get up close to these magnificent birds at the end of each performance.
During the shows, falconers, with training in biology, were able to demystify these hunters of the sky by raising awareness of their fragility and the importance in biodiversity.
Birds of prey are truly fascinating and essential to our ecosystems!
They play a crucial role in controlling rodent and small mammal populations, which helps maintain a balanced food chain and prevents the spread of diseases.
