Nah, she's holding onto some resentment because I think she's projecting a class issue onto the family. Her dad said he felt comfortable with him, gave his blessing without hesitation. Had anyone seen that coming, there could have been time carved out to have a conversation with her where HER concerns could have been brought to the surface, and given light in this special setting. Nobody saw it though It was a missed opportunity. In fact, the two moms should have talked. Her mom said she loved him through tears despite everything, I think he is being celebrated in their company.

@@walterbrown2425 I think the issue is because the bride’s family tried to make it seem like the groom is taking advantage of the bride in some way because she makes more than him and the groom’s mother was saying that he has his own and is not taking advantage of the bride. Having your own business is an accomplishment because not everyone has the wherewithal to do that. Additionally, we see more people just following along with trends and others, and being an outlier (in terms of morality, faith, character, integrity, etc.) is an accomplishment in today’s society.

I honestly feel like Khaneshia is a runner. She can’t stand five minutes in a convo that makes her uncomfortable even with the THERAPIST. This is why LeBarron also has communication issues with her. He is direct and blunt. Just like her family however Khanesia runs and doesn’t want to discuss issues. She could’ve clarified everything but instead she ran to Lebarrons family for backup, instead of standing ten toes down for her fiancé. Continue the discussion don’t get up and run. I did see this, but I think it’s important to remember that when you have an overbearing sort of they run my life folks she may have been afraid to speak. I do believe she was afraid….this is how they probably always communicated with her. She have probably never stood up for herself or been allowed to and it’s scary and new for her. She needs to speak with a therapist for herself. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that she has been validated much or was allowed to have much of an opinion. She doesn’t know what that territory feels like. Hopefully it works for her and she finds herself but I do think her behavior is in direct correlation with the way she grew up with this family

I think because she grew up in a household where I believe she was criticized a lot, and with a stubborn mom (tad bit self absorbed), she never really learned how to communicate with conflict. The brides sister was off the chain and overly aggressive she needs a life of her own. Who follows someone the way she was so aggressive towards her sister. It's hard to believe they gave been dating 3 years and her family did not know ..why? Loved the way he spoke to the brides mother one on one.
