If XRP rises to $4-5 that’s a return of around $40k should they opt to sell around 8k XRP and keep 2 thousand. Even after crypto tax, that’s still a lot of money. They can then either reinvest the returns or use the returns to pay off any debts. Thats massive for the average person.

I think a better strategy is to offer it up for institutional custody at an annual % return. 10% APR i think is very doable. So if your XRP reaches $10 thats a $14,000 annual return while you wait for the price to rise to lets say $100 then you are grossing $140,000 a year for life.

Me too! I wish I could have bought more when it was cheaper, but this past year has been a financial nightmare. The AC went out $6,300. Wife's car needed replacing $7,000. Timing chain needed replacing in my truck $5,000. Fridge went out $1,600. Wife and I needed dental work $2,000. Hurricane damaged our roof $17,000. Then one day woke up in some pretty bad pain, several x-rays and am MRI later, find that I have degenerative disk disease with narrowing of my foramen which is causing pain to radiate down my left arm continuously. That cost about $1,500 to figure out and still have a Neuro bill coming up in March that will be $1,200. With all that said, my hands are 💎 and they can have my xrp once they pry it from my cold dead hands.

Depending on how much you hold, I think the questions for investors would be their age vs current value vs the expected future value curve. I could not agree with your analysis and taking profits early that said the larger your position the more flexibility you have and how you take profits. I've only been in this space for a little over 2 years and have purchased in certain numerical chunks and will scale out in those same numerical chunks. That mean has made it. Just scale out profit taking strategy

All decent advice there, but you’re not considering Capital Gains taxes etc. I would suggest you hold the numbers you’re suggesting plus and extra 20% to allow for these taxes. That’s what I am doing. That would give a total of 17,142.9 allowing for CGT at 20%

It’s a little bit refreshing to listen to someone as crazy as me on KZbin talking about $10,000 xrp like it’s a given that anything close to that is ever going to happen lol.
