I have read Goo Goo Dolls are VERY popular overseas. I don't think they have any issues getting 20,000 people at a show in most countries. I'd say 75% of the countries they play in, they can get BIG crowds like this. I don't think that's too be said here in the US. They only played in front of 4,000 people in St. Louis, that the biggest crowd they can put in their.

Not lazy - it is the opposite, actually. He had vocal chord strain/damage and said he had to re-learn how to sing. He still sees a voice coach regularly and does many vocal exercises. He has to protect his asset, therefore, would not be able to sing certain ways at every concert - or any concert. No performer does that without taking a lot of touring breaks; and GGD thing is to tour.

When you get older, you lose collagen/fat in your face. We have been following Johnny since he was a teenager, so yea, he is not going to look the same age 52 like he is in this video. Also, John has vitiligo- an autoimmune disorder affecting the skin, so perhaps he had treatments, so he could feel better about it. He has also lived/toured hard at times and is a recovering substance abuser.
