Owyhee Canyon | Nikson Overland | Three Forks

Lets explore into the Owyhee Canyon with Nikson Overland group.
This time I guide our group on an 8 day trip through SouthEastern Oregon region, some of the largest BLM area and very scenic desert areas.
Trip starts around 6:30AM from Willamette Valley area of Oregon, heading towards town of Rome, where a traveler has last opportunity to resupply with whats available at the Rome station, fuel being main "something" everyone needed to top off.
From there it takes us roughly 3 hours south on the west side of the Owyhee canyon from Rome to Three Forks Hot Springs spot.
Definitely a beautiful, dusty, bumpy but worthwhile drive.

What an adventure! I am doing the same thing in a few months with quads as we will be antelope hunting there. Did you check out the hot spring? It was only 100m behind you to the north at the 9 minuite mark.

I go to Three Forks several times per year but have never entered the way you took. Did that take you to the west side of the hot springs? Also, I have never seen anyone cook a dish like that while camping. That looked amazing, I want go camping with you guys for the food! haha Nice video.

Not sure what you mean by “side we entered” There are 2 ways, we came from one side of the canyon and left by crossing the river
