So many tutorials move so fast that beginners just don't stand a chance. Your videos are so helpful, telling us what you're doing and why. It's very encouraging and inspirational. Thank you.

you are my absolute favorite wiring teacher. I wish I were aas coordinated as you are.!! My fingers don't always move the right way or pinch the pliers the way they are supposed to go but i do love your teaching.

This was a pleasure to watch from beginning to end. I love that you show us every move and explain why you are doing what you are doing. I really liked the finished charm and the wire wrapping is so complimentary to the stone itself. Thank you for a lovely video that is most helpful to a new wrapper.

I am a new wrapper and I find your tutorials intriguing as well as inspirational. The instructions are clear and informative. While I thoroughly enjoy your tutorials, there is one thing that baffles me... how do you keep the copper "tarnish" from rubbing off onto your clients' clothes or turning the skin green?
@OxanaCrafts Жыл бұрын
Thank you, it is more of a problem with rings, when the copper constantly rubs against the skin it can turn it green for some people. I have never had a problem with a pendant though as I don't think it really rubs against the skin enough to have that happen. It all depends on body chemistry, some people are more prone to the skin turning green than others, if it is a real problem for someone I'd recommend other metals like sterling silver.

Thank you for sharing your crafts ❤ Do you know if it's safe to wear solid gold wire wrapped gemstone jewelry to the shower or does it damage it?

Sorry I don't know, I would guess gold would be fine though if it got wet.

Hi Oxana, Thanks for providing us with your wonderful tuts!! Anyway, How much wastage do you have while designing pieces for us with tuts as well as all your followers that purchase your lovely pieces?
@OxanaCrafts Жыл бұрын
I use copper when coming up with something new, so I don't waste expensive wire like silver. I do cut my wires long so I don't run out since I never quite know how much I will need when trying out a new idea, so there is some waste, but not too much. And little bits of wire can often be recycled into little links and other small bits that are useful. When I make my designs that I sell in my shop there's usually not much waste as those are generally ones I make a lot and know by heart
@lvquilter Жыл бұрын
Thanks!! BTW I have several pieces that I have *&%#ed up. Some at the start, and sadly, a lot near finished. IS there, more like, would you be willing (I know your able!! lol) to show us how to over come or fix errors? Do you cover such things with your subscriptions choices? Thanks again, I know your really busy!

Oxana I love your Gorgeous Stones Oxana, do you Stock up on your Wire & Your Stones? Oxana I wish You could see my Stash of Cabochons I've got Stored in a Folger's Coffee Can; Some Cabochons I've found here beside the main highway here in South Georgia where they're working on paving the highways and making new roads. Oxana Thank YOU So Much For Sharing. Oxana I love you're Videos 💖👍😃👋

Oxana I think you need to see the Cabochons I've got 👍 Oxana I've also have another Folger's Coffee Full of Different size Rock too, And they're big enough to make like Rings Earrings Bracelets Anklets and maybe make afew Necklaces as well too Oxana, Lol my wire wrapping sucks Terribly. Lol 🤣🤣
@OxanaCrafts9 ай бұрын
That's lovely you have collected so many, if you have trouble wire wrapping them you could try doing glue on bails to turn them into pendants.

Oh wow, that's so cool! Congratulations! I auction off the pendants I make in my tutorials in the membership section of my channel. But I have also made this design a few times when I was coming up with it for this tutorial, so there are a couple of these original Lyra pendants currently on my website

Hi! Can I do it 20 gauge instead of 18?
@OxanaCraftsАй бұрын
20 would be better for a small stone, if it is bigger the 20 will not be strong enough and stone may be wobbly
