I remember this road towards 2000 circa and it was so badly potholed because nobody wanted to take any responsibility for its upkeep. Absolutely mint footage!

I used to visit my father's house on Kops Road one up from the old Gold Coast City Mayor's House. We drove that flyover as its now that mound on the left in between the M1 and that Oxenford round about at the shopping centre there. I don't remember much but seeing that turn off gives me memories. I do remember seeing Warner Brothers Movie World being constructed though...

Bet it would be unrecognisable now, due to the lack of trees with all the tacky development that’s gone on lands been raped and pillaged

It should be named Oxenford/ Hope Island to Paradise point..it never makes it to Southport...nice old footage though
