More Southern stuff please (I did buy six of your Adams Radial tanks in various liveries) - how about the Adams 0395 Class (nice simple 0-6-0 goods engine, that appeared everywhere, and lasted forever).

Great stuff! It would be great if you sold your wagon wheelsets seperately - as they are non-magnetic, they are a boon for anyone using Kadees or any other magnet based uncoupling system. I'd buy I ton of them! Also - any chance you could release that 3 plank LMS crane runner wagon as a seperate model?

Would be wheel sizes and spacings of the Adams Radial Tank match close enough to the Marriott C17 (M&GN Class A) Atlantic Tank Engines that it could be modelled on the same chassis only needing a new Upper body?

Totem A. Used for transport of gun barrels for the Navy? Would require possibly 4 off of these wagons and barrier flats for a long gun (52 ft for 18 inch gun barrel)and require nearly 90 ton capacity over the two wagon supporting the gun, both with pivot one fixed one sliding (to get round corners) supporting the loads Airy points for minimum deflection.

There was only 1 totem A ever built '41910' and it was used for transporting cast iron. It was later modified and used up at Ebbw Vale to transport steel rolls.

@@briancooper562 Definitely not. Not big enough. Totem A was a one of vehicle, if memory serves me correctly. You would need Crocodiles or Pollen Sets for gun barrels.

OXFORD RAIL & NEM EUROPEAN STANDARDS ISSUES ! All well and good for the NEW products shown here ! BUT and its a big but. Has "Oxford Rail" yet learnt the meaning of the NEM standards requirements ? And I'm referring primarily to the NON Standard NEM pockets I found on the 6 wheeled GWR Brake vans. Which because I use the European NEM version of the American Kadee Buckeye auto magnetic couplings (Their Cat Nos: 17,18,19 & 20). All designed to fit the Standard NEM pocket. As are ALL European Manufacturers couplings except it seems "Oxford Rail". These otherwise very nice GWR Brakevans, had to be rebuilt just to fit the couplings !!! Okay I'm aware that the NEM Conference held around 1989 in Germany, to set (Agreed) Standards for all European Manufactures. Predates Oxford Rails entry into the Model Railway market. But that Conference was held at that time, to dispense with the minor technical differences between manufactured products. Which were a previous Marketing ploy to gain "Brand Loyalty". Which had been identified by the end of the 1980's as itself now becoming a serious hinderance to sales of "All" ranges. Hence wheel standards and profiles had to be altered, as well as Rail and pointwork standards to also accommodate the then newly proposed Code 75 rail in "OO" & "HO". A standard coupling for European Models could NOT be agreed, so a standard coupling Pocket was the next best thing ! Hence the so called "NEM" coupling pocket. Where of course both the height & size of the NEM pocket are critical measurements !

My experience is that most are of a very iffy interchangeability with minor variations in the dove-tail a regular problem. Then for me if it doesn't fit I can easily modify, not always easy, but when you NEM modify Triang, Wrenn I suppose nothing is a big problem, just slightly frustrating.

@@dad1ipms Exactly the reason for the original Conference, to get rid of such problems. Especially as many of todays modellers don't even seem to know what a Swan Morton Scalpel is for !

@@dad1ipms Scalpels are sharper than any "craft knife", and you can have them in three sizes, with variously different shaped blades. Scalpels are of course intended for Surgeons conducting Operations on Humans in Hospital Theatres !!! Hence you seem to have proved my previous point !

Great range of wagons Oxford Rail well done. But your Wagons was amazing much better choice steam train wagon there Hornby Model Railways 2025 range Hornby should be taken note. Love of look of GWR totem never known there before today. Love we are getting liverys 1904 days to Br days. As give people so many choices depending on the era there are models. Being a big fan of ERA 2 love to see odd wagon like GWR totem but could do HR. Plus never seen unpainted wood wagon before in oo scale ready to run looks amazing. Would love to see more wagons in unpainted wood. Look at this wagon in the future in OO scale (HR 6-wheel brake van, Br 20t Prestwin diag, BR 22t Conflat P or any HR wagon)

Hi mukka, I believe they are actually owned by Hornby who bought them out a few years ago! Like Lima, Rivarossi etc Hornby owns most model railway manufacturers but they keep the names going for business purposes. Surprisingly the prices are not roo bad. 😮 Regards from Oz.
