Technology certainly has helped develop the hobby over the years, moving from simple motor mechanisms, to the advancements we see today such as Digital Sound, and fine detailing applications. Will definitely be exciting to see what comes next!

I'm more familiar with the HST version. It's a pity the Virgin Trains liveried HST had to disappear, although my favourite HST livery is BR Blue & Grey. Sorry for being old fashioned.

The BR Blue & Grey HST has a large group of fans so you're in good company with your preference. We have a good split of preferences here in the office, with Intercity, Intercity Swallow and Virgin all being mentioned to name a few!
