Oxford St Giles Vlog 2023 - Pure Atmosphere, All Rides & Attractions

Oxford St Giles 399th Fun Fair takes place on the first Monday and Tuesday of September and is widely known as one of the best street fairs in the UK for atmosphere! Join us for this historic Fair with a tour of all the rides and attractions including On-Ride POV's And loads of offride shots! This is Oxford St Giles opening day 2023
Hello, Yes here we are and please sit back and enjoy the ride, We pretty much let the fair do the talking here as we soak up the atmosphere and kick off World Funfair Month for September, So many good machines attend this fair including the excellent AIR owned by Abie Danter and this is the highlight of the fair, Sat in the middle ground and dominating the skyline is the UK's only travelling Starshape. Such an iconic ride here and with lights, smoke and strobes it really does capture the atmosphere, £9 a ride and a massive line to ride all night ... printing money this beast of a machine.
We got on loads of machines including Wilson's Extreme, Motts Super Trooper, Austin Hollands Super Bowl 2x Ghost Trains, Waltzer and Tagada.

Aaron ALWAYS has the best attitude when he's not able to ride. I be over here in my feelings lol I truly hope that manufacturers design with EVERYONE in mind. Even if it's just 2 or 3 seats. It still was an amazing vlog as always. I do believe EVERYONE came to the fair today😊 it's people EVERYWHERE!!

Absolutely incredible fair ! I've seen so many photos from it , I would love to experience this fair one day !it's so amazing to see it so busy ! Yet another 1st Class vlog from the Dynamic Duo !! Oxford St. Giles is one of a handfull of UK grounds on my 'To Do' list.... There's some serious bits of kit there, with a BIG public attendance they deserve. So, Goose is only THREE weeks away.... Danters 'Air' will be there this year... Also, Next to us, where 'Void' was last year, There's going to be the last travelling 'Tip Top' !! Haven't seen one in around 40 years, and i've never rode one, so REALLY looking forward to those two machines & the Gaff itself !! xx

Brilliant video of what is arguably one of the UK’s best fairs in terms of atmosphere. £600 a cycle on air can’t be right at £9 a pop. It’s only got 24 seats. My maths works that out at £216 a spin 😅

@@Scotty9082 You can’t compare a pizza to a fairground ride. If you did then the difference would be you can feed a family of 4 on one of there meal deals which is around £25-30. You would get a 2 min cycle for three people on air… I’m not disputing that fair ground rides are costly, I know they go in the hundred of thousands just for a decent second hand extreme model. All I’m saying is charging £9 for a 2 minute cycle is steep. If a family were going to try and do an evening out it would cost a lot to enjoy it. You might as well go Alton towers, Thorpe park etc and pay one fee and ride all day.

Great video tour once again ! It was nice to meet you briefly at 16.50secs myself in the red top and navy hat . Yes this Superbowl was immense beyond my expectations , made up for not ruding it last year at my local abingdon fair . Nearly 6 minutes i was on it for and i was slipping out of my seat too on the downward frontal direction , so im pleased the staff wouldnt let me in the broken empty carriage ones cos i would be dead ! 😂 If only ut went backwards too that only one i have rode has before. Do you think they just turned up the carriage spin setting ? I was gonna ride that super trooper ride but i couldnt handle that backwards too my first time straight after superbowl ,and holding on 1 handed with my camera filming both onboard rides that i have of superbowl too ! I did notice the policemans rather odd advice too when i saw you . Been nice to have an Ice jet / midnight express style ride too surprisingly there was none. But ice jet going backward at Newbury racecourse xmas event was my closest i been to nearly being ride sick lol .
