What are the types of student dorms in Oxford? Can I choose?

There are usually en-suite rooms, rooms with shared bathrooms and sometimes you have kitchen access but it is all dependant on which college you pick. Some colleges have more option than other's. Queen's college does not let you pick what type of room you have in first year unless you have a medical condition and then second year onwards they do the room ballot (video will be posted with more details later!) where they randomly order you in a list and you pick what type of accommodation you want out of en-suite, shared bathrooms, kitchen access.
