I feel for her, though I am not indian myself but non-white. I'm an international student in the UK as well doing my PhD. The first year was a nightmare with unfair and uncarring supervisor. I had a change of supervison and my second supervisor was better than the previous one. However, i did not really see any difference studying home and internationally with occasional staff strikes, large student size and the assignment of at least 10 postgraduate students to a supervisor alongside their busy teaching schedules. Absolutely, not worth the astronical international fees. Think twice before choosing to pusue your studies in the UK

No UK universities will breach any contract if unless serious breach done by you or from your side. 3. who funded your PhD (scholarship/self-funded)? 4. @masteroogway9060 I highly doubt it even was racism, honestly. Our people are brought up constantly to assume there's institutional racism. It isn't even the case for black people. We end up in the top of every MEANINGFUL and USEFUL company and build start-ups. Nowadays, we have Generation Z shitting on their own Dharmic heritage, obsessed with GoT and sex, and going into marketing instead of filling useful areas, creating huge vacancies in engineering and medicine. We look shit compared to even The Philippines. She's not telling us the whole story, and everyone is blindly accepting a one-sided narrative. They accepted her for a full PhD. The last minute, after a First Year Review, yearly enrollment, and Final Year 'Intent to Submit', they'd say this? Yeah right. It's bullshit. I know how the system works. She's making us look bad.

That is something that has been said before that Shakespeare has little room for further research. Maybe the white students who got their Shakespeare PhD project approved were better advised on the topics they should focus on for a PhD Shakespeare project. So my guess is your supervisor failed to give you that advice because they didn't like you or your accent.
