Oxidation of Phytanic Acids - Alpha-Oxidation and Beta Oxidation

In this video oxidation of phytanic acid in the peroxisomes by initial alpha oxidation followed by beta-oxidation is explained. At the end I have explained about Refsum disease in brief.
