I honestly think Joel and Oliver had the best chemistry. They remind me of how Zeke and Fifth had a better chemistry in the previous series than the main leads. Despite the fact that the series is somehow pushing Oliver and Jason's story based on the trailer, I'm happy that at least Oliver and Joel give us the best chemistry in the series.

I think he is doing what he can to cope. He did try to ask Zeke what really happened and why this guy keeps bugging him. He did answer but sonething is not adding up. Even if he disregards this person this guy will eventually find a way to pester both of them. Until this conflict is resolved this guy will never leave. This is a heavy burden for fifth and he is coping in his own way. Clearly if you ask a person who just wants to evade the problem it will never be solved (i.e. zeke) amd fifth is not like that. You can never have a peaceful relationship unless almost all past burdens have been lifted.

He's not coping in a good way. It's showing me that Fifth can lie at the drop of a dime, deny his relationship, and tell your business to a stranger. Zeke doesn't want any parts of this person, who is Fifth to go behind his boyfriends back to help reunite the 2? How does that make sense? Why is it not good enough that Zeke wants the relationship to stay dead. That's not showing respect to your partner.
