OXS Spearfishing meetup fail + scallop dive - Spearfishing Whangarei's east coast!

Those scallops are easy picking. Just curious, how long you hold your breath under water?

Hi, My breath hold varies a bit but at the moment it is around 70 seconds working, in summer when I dive a bit more the time goes up to 90 seconds working, if I just do a shallow non working dive I can last a couple of minutes...Cheers!!!

I remember staying there in our bus when my daughter was somewhere between 1 and 2 years old, she is 16 now! I don't venture south often but there sure is some beautiful coast to be explored there! Cheers!!!

Shame about the turn out for Sam but at least it wasn't just him and the partner :-) Those crays are in shallow right now and getting ready to shed their shells which makes getting them easy when of size cheers!

I'm gutted I didnt make it out to the spearo meet and greet as I had some freinds begging to take me out for a scallop dive :( next time....
