I still wish they would acknowledge the retcon in this episode, I feel like I am a bit crazy here but they explicitly said in the introductory episode to the skeletons that they contracted a warlock for their skeleton-ness, and they also explicitly said Effilfrith (or however you spell his name) was just a builder.

That wasn't actually retconned, The Builder did say the skeletons did it. He might have just been uninvolved and got dragged into the magic after his death. What WAS a retcon was the skeletons having masters before the Oxventurers, when they first rose up they claimed it had never happened before. Having said that, for it to actually be a retcon, it'd have to be intentional, not all lore for the Oxventure is intended or remembered.

@@Malkontent1003 I do not believe the definition of retcon requires intention, regardless with how much the oxventure popularity has grown it would be interesting to see them acknowledge more retcons within the series, to be quite honest the reason I want this is more because I think they would come up with fairly comedic explanations, given their track record.

Gotta say, Johnny didn't do a great job these last few episodes in terms of directing the guys into the intended narrative. Like this episode wasa mess and he could have easily gave them a nudge instead of letting them discuss 15 minutes (several times) of ways that went way in the wrong direction just because he wouldn't interupt and nudge them into what wasthe actual idea
