Solzhenitsyn is a distasteful talentless waste of breath and a known liar who got debunked numerous times, while Dostoyevsky is deep indeed but psychologically unreasonably burdening at times. If you really are into "phrase, sarcasm and depth" as you claim, I'd rather you try out Pushkin, Lermontov, Gogol and Tolstoy. Their stuff hits the spot for real, mate, it never misses and never fails to convey and deliver the message.

I had a French teacher who learned English while in school in Africa, but when she came to America, she had to pick up a lot of new words. She said she was really confused by the word "Wow." Great interview. Personally i’ve learned a lot about my compatriot, although I’m expatriot now... I’ve also gotten a degree in an English-speaking country. His English is perfect, as well as Russian. Godspeed or as we say in Russian: «Бог в помощь». Oxxxymiron’s texts are not some around-the-corner bullshit, whose target audience is bitch-slapping wanna-be gangsters and girls; his lyrics are on a different level - in a different dimention, if you will.

i'm aware that i'm rather late, but i just got into his music after recently making a serious commitment to finally learn russian. aside from Каста, i had always listened to russian goth, post-punk, and electronica as a kid since middle school, thus i'm ecstatic i could stumble upon more hip hop talent. ♡ also, i must mention, after watching this interview, i admire oxxxy's mindset and personality. plus, he's hot.~ omg, and i appreciate how he brought up t.A.T.u. and $uicideboy$!!

Вообще, в последнее время слушаю многого западного хип хопа и знал язык уже давно, но всё равно поражает как Окс тут шпарит просто на автомате, акцент на месте, но не сильный, и это конечно вызывает глубочайшее уважение, Оксфорд помогает.. И что касается будущих планов (Ампир V до сих пор не вышел, безумие) - когда Влад спросил его планируешь ли ты начать читать на английском, теперь такая вероятность возрастает в прогрессии, хотя я все равно считаю что Окс будет читать на русском и хотя бы нашу культуру еще нести дальше. Но это всё конечно очень злобная ирония если послушать это через 4 года.. А знаете какой самый главный панчлайн у этого видео ? Просто посмотрите на чертову дату : 22.02. У меня всё -_-

One of the only VladTV interviews where I watched the entire thing. Very interesting to watch, and it's cool how he was influenced by Big L, one of the best to ever do it. Would be cool for you to bring some more Russians on here Vlad. Pharaoh, Big Baby Tape, Jeembo & Tveth, Boulevard Depo... I don't know if they're fluent enough in English to hold an interview, but it'd be cool to see more.
