I guess you don't see all the BBQ roaming around in creature form.
@bazerger62583 ай бұрын
They separated them so you can chose to "only pick up specified critters", rather than "pick up anything that is not marked to be here" It means you can in theory have a mix of critters in the stable, and control the individual population numbers, and you can of course prevent critters you don't care about from being picked up, as now they only see the critters you've selected, the rest aren't even counted. You could for example, have an egg dumping ground, that you have a pickup wrangle all the adults, but you can now control it, so that you can leave in couple of adult cuddle pips there. Automating them getting replaced when they die sounds like it might be more tricky, since the critter sensor can't be filtered for species.

The infinite loop on the critter drop-off was because you were picking up if more than 5, but the room had less than 7, so it dropped them off at the critter drop-off in the same room.

One thing you could do on slickani to help with the chlorine is to uproot the 2 dasha saltvines that are inside the liquid locked zone. One is above the corridor that goes into the oil biome and the other is lower, next to the ethanol pool. You also have a couple of seeds, next to the ladder and in the ethanol pool. Plant those on the ceiling below the hatches and they will consume the chlorine and give you salt.
@GrindThisGame3 ай бұрын
Good plan.
@wheany3 ай бұрын
@@GrindThisGame heh, I mean you already pumped the chlorine out later, but in case you need to get rid of some chlorine later in the series, dasha saltvine is an option. It requires some dupe work for fertrilization, it doesn't work super fast, but it doesn't require power and it targets only chlorine.

Your right about the spacing of pipes on your aquatuner. Altho running better, I would expect your setup to stutter when the tuner is off. I found 2 pipes between the white tuner and white bridge ports and 1 pipe connecting the 2 greens is the only way to get perfectly filled, non stuttering pipes, when tuner is on or off. Besides using a fluid tank, which are also great at fine tuning an exact temperature of coolant, but I digress...

Pipe inputs always take priority before letting the contents continue the along pipes Outputs always yield to materials moving through pipes Bridges, (and possibly the other "pipe utilities"), can merge the content in pipes on their output, if it's the same, and there's room Buildings cannot merge their content in the outputs, even if the content is the same, and there's room

For water for oil, you should pull from massive tank in middle, you have a filter there already instead of the oxygen tank water.

The reason your steam turbine cooling isn't keeping everything cool is due to the water not having enough specific heat capacity. You'll need at least one more tuner to cool all them down well.

Your bathroom water on planet 2, just loop the output back to the original dirty water tank input instead of a new tank. There is no loop right now.

You could just move the insulated pipe at the bottom of the steam turbines one tile down and make a bigger zig-zag with radiant pipes and add maybe some thermal-shift plates.

Swapping to aluminum and lowering the steam helped tons. It's in the next episode.
