#OxygenNotIncluded (#ONI) is a survival game, where you are stranded inside of an asteroid with three duplicants and you have to survive and prosper.
This seventh season of this let's play we try to do this on the Badland asteroid which is a bit on desolate side. In this series we focus on farming all the farmable crops we can get our hands on.

In space, instead of using a blob of liquid to cool miners, you can use the new Conductive panel. It is specifically designed to cool buildings in a vacuum. No need for blobs of liquid or shelves under your miners anymore.

@@hotzstGaming Ya, the conductive panel is great, just run it behind a miner, sweeper, transformer... anything, and it keeps it cool (with coolant running through it).

A few problems I see with your petrol boiler. 1) You have 12 diamond window tiles above your thermo transfer door. That is a LOT of thermal mass. If you have a thermo sensor in the oil / petroleum that is triggering the door to open / close, there is a LOT of heat already above the door. This can result in overheating. If you moved your thermo transfer door up, so there was only 1 layer of diamond window between the heatspike and your room, it would be much safer. 2) Generally, you would drop your oil into the petroleum tank, not have the vent IN the petroleum. Even through you have insulated pipes going through the petroleum, if your counterflow heat exchanger is working correctly, the oil should already be at 380c before it goes into the petroleum. Combined with the problem 1) that your temp may go above 405c, there is a good chance that some of the oil will state change in the pipe, breaking the pipe. - I do like your infinite storage, although I find it ultra scary that it will be touching your liquid lock at the entrance... Should be fine, just scary. Cheers.

Many Petrol boilers suggest having instead of Diamond Widow tiles on the boiler side of the thermo transfer door, to use Gold Tiles. They have much less thermal mass, so when the heat turns off, those metal tiles lose all their heat almost instantly, where the diamond has more thermal mass so it will continue to pump heat in even after the door has opened.

I started out with 3 layers of diamond tiles, but there was too much heat transfer, so when priming the system I always got sour gas.

Gold or gold amalgam is a rare commodity on this asteroid and I will need most of it to produce oxylite later on.

@@hotzstGaming I can't remember if your door was powered. If it wasn't, powering it allows it to open much faster cutting off the heat.

Your Dreco Ranches. It looks like one has 3 mealwood plants, and the other has 4. I'm not sure if that is enough. For a Dreco ranch containing 8 drecos, I generally have 6 mealwood plants.

I am not sure either, this might actually be the reason why sometimes all dreckos die. However I have limited the number to 6, which might help somewhat.

It appears that you are using Petroleum as your coolant for your space project. Although petroleum won't overheat, it only has a SHC of 1.7 while polluted water has a SHC of 4.1. Running petroleum instead of PWater as your coolant means that your Aquatuners have to run more than twice as much to supply the same cooling... Doubling your power cost to keep your space project cool.

But petroleum has a lower freezing point than polluted water. In the past I had issues, where the cooling loop went through a cold biome, that could freeze the polluted water in the pipe. As for power: Once I have solar panels I usually have more power than I need.

I noticed that none of your Ranches have Auto Sweepers to collect eggs... How do you extract the eggs from all your ranches?
