The speece cone was replaced with reducing pipes (saturator) because the cone does not transfer O2 as well, for two reasons: 1) We are not running high pressures on our system (only 4-7 psi) and 2) the contact time in the cone is less than the saturator.

I wonder if this machine is enough for a large operation like yours, unless you're using it for a few tanks of course!

Hi I am attempting to breed my own tilpia for my aquaponic setup. I am having an issue with the fry. Once out of the tumbler a good amount lay on their side on the bottom of the tank. By day 10 it happens to them all and I loose all fry. This happens repeatedly. I use rain water. Both breeder tank and fry tank is 80°, 8 PH, no ammonia, nitrates or nitrites. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
