For a 5.7 HEMI (ngc3) with long tube headers and catless. My car is running lean, i’m a learning with HPT. I want to ask what the better methods to correct the AF ratio? I need to correct the 02 like this and let the computer do the correction or be helped by AEM withband and correct the VE table? Thanks

I know you said hemis are a little more difficult but i need a little guidance with my long tubes i know some modifications to the tune will help so far i just got the back sensors disabled

I got my car tuned with long tube headers 2014 Camaro SS and still get lean to rich codes on both of the O2 sensors before the cats. Any suggestions?

My rear 02 sensors were eliminated when my cam and long tube headers were installed. Since then I keep getting a code saying the upstream 02 sensors inactive. Currently they read 440-450 mv regardless of rpm. My 30 year corvette guy that did the work says that it can be adjusted with the tune. Is that possible. All electrical connections are correct and I’ve went through 2 sets of new 02 sensors. Thanks a ton. 2002 corvette z06.

It needs to be tuned so the o2 voltage will switch rich and lean

Multiplying by .95 only lowers the value by 5%. If lowering it 95% you need to multiply by .05

If this is the o2 header video it’s just designed to be small changes for the o2 after header install to prevent codes related to o2 heater

I have my 2010 5.7 hemi charger long tubes & cats. The tune that I paid for disabled cats I went in and enabled them along with anything else needed to pass inspection for emissions. Problem I have is O2 sensor monitor and egr monitor will not run. Has a TSP stage 2 cam lost on how to get one of the last 2 monitor to run to be able to pass inspection.

So I adjusted all these and she is running ok, although Im running just a little lean. Should I start tuning everything, or can I change one of these parameters and get it richer? I have no other mods, just long tubes, no cats and full 3" exhaust on a camaro ss.

Oxygen sensors don’t care what anything says they put your vehicle at 14.7:1 roughly so if you add to the maf and oxygen sensors and taking awhile fuel then your vehicle is too rich. You can’t get away from stoich The only thing you can do is put it in open loop mode and control fuel from pe table but that can be very difficult

@@recklessmotorsportsusa3443 my problem is, seems like the o2 sensors are swinging happily, commanded AFR is 14.68, but the AEM x series reading about 15.2. I guess I could try a free air calibration.

@@derBara83 i run into the same at idle. Cruising I bounce between 14.8 & 15.2 pretty consistantly. Shorty headers on my vortec 350/4L80E/4x4

So for gen 4s all that can be changed to address long tube headers are: proportional limit set to 1.25, airflow low-high reduce by .95 and if needed o2 readiness delay add “sum time”… ill try this and see if it works 😊
