This is not a show. I actually created the entire track from scratch. Everything I am playing in the video is live. The backing tracks (bass, sequencer, drums and choir) runs from cubase. When you listen carefully you will hear the differences, mainly in the sound FX (noise etc.) The bass line and drum sounds are also slightly different. But I tried to get as close as possible to the real thing!

Seven years old already and still it sounds perfect! Most songs of Jarre have the tendecy to 'look' simple in structure...until one tries to copy...than one will notice, there are so many nuances...this is where Jean Michel shows, he's made of worldclass material(!). You, on the other hand, manage to come terribly close to the original atmosphere...almost an equal impact!

Folks who clicked THUMB DOWN on this, are just jealous or totally don't have a clou what hard work this is to make and to play and all live. This is impressive without a doubt!

I simply loved it. Almost could not tell from the original cd. Congratulations!!

For the last time: PLEASE CHECK THE OTHER RESPONSES! This is not playback but it was recorded with multiple camera takes which were later edited together. therefor it sometimes looks out of sync / playback. Take a look at my live version of this track and the video where I explain how I did it!

I remember this video by MEESHA. When I watch it for the first time about ten years ago, I have no hardware synthesizer... Even no one MIDI controller)) I just envy him XD One of the best covers of the Jean Michele Jarre Music!

Hi Meesha , you have a fantastic studio. You are a perfectionist, all the sounds of the finest tuned. Wish a nice weekend greeting frank

Awesome! Sounds just like the sound and expressions Jarre would use regardless if people don't think it's exact or not. Has anyone ever seen the videos with Jean Michelle Jarre? He has sequenced parts programmed ahead of time that accompany his music. Just because they are programmed doesn't mean they aren't played by hand.
