Why has there only been one mas oyama? Has social media and modern day technology turned people soft and into cream puffs? Mas Oyama's hands were so heavy. Even he moves his hands to strike them you can hear it make sound like a freight train running through a tree branch. Even sosai Matsui is small and weak compared to mas oyama. Mas Oyama punches and kicks were so heavy even the sound alone was frightening. Just the vibration of his kick could break a tree.

For those who don’t know, yes-he is/was Korean. He’s best known as CHOI Baedal 최배달. He popularized Karate in the western by fighting a bull and so on. He, along with another Korean living in Japan-Rikidōzan, the father of Japanese wrestling-epitomized the strength and excellence that helped them rise to the top of their respective arts as Koreans living in Japan. They strove for “ultimate excellence,” aka 극진 in Korean or Kokushin, as pronounced in Japanese. It is no small feat for CHOI (Mas Oyama) and Rikidōzan 역도산 [김신락: KIM Shin-Rak] to have achieved that during those years in Japan, so hope this puts things in proper perspective.

Wait... Ryu from Street Fighter is based on a real dude and the dude is this guy here? Wow... That's pretty amazing. Ryu is already my favorite and this just reaffirms my natural draw to him all these years, always something so genuine and pure about the character and I see art imitated life here too. Thank you Capcom. Thank you to the original world warrior. Thank you Master Oyama.

I have a question. Why did that cow have a rope around neck. In breaking horn, why didn't they show the real film? It has several scenes mixed and edited together. The power landing on cow head is not that strong, given the speed of the punch. Why there isn't any fight film of him? Why don't we know the names of the big fighters he beat? I just want some proof

9:14 I can see where they got the idea for master Kim Sun Yung in Cobra Kai from. Mas Oyama is the real deal. He is ferocious man did you see how big his hands are. He knocked somebody on their behind with a finger strike to the opponents chest. That's doesn't even make sense logically. They should have tested the power of his punch against George Foreman. I think mas oyama hits harder. But it's a shame that no one is as powerful as mas oyama these days. They're too busy being comedians through social media to be like mas oyama. And making videos of what is fake or not fake. that's why there are posers and those that actually fight.

@Zeek Banistor here we go, another guy running his mouth like he knows the style in and out! Let me ask you something, do you training in Kyokushin? If you don't, then you're just another guy running your mouth like you know the style in and out!
@dakentaijutsu20104 жыл бұрын
@Zeek Banistor and that's your problem, you're judging by one karateka, that's what I mean when I say you're running your mouth without knowing the first thing about Kyokushin, are you saying that we do not learn to punch to the face just kick to the face? Because that sounds exactly what you're trying to say, and it sounds like you're only judging by tournament standards, that's what you're doing, you don't really know how we Kyokushin practitioners really train at all, do you?

@Zeek Banistor Legitimate response? that is a good one, and I have my reasons for practicing Kyokushin, you're only judging because you only saw videos of kyokushin tournaments, that is the only reason why you're trying to put it down, you think just becase you claim you have practice many martial arts styles now all of a certain you are a genius at this one you are judging?

its sad that Oyama's wish can't be fulfilled with today's Kyokushin i doubt any Kyokushin fighter at this age could fell a bull they have gone soft Oyama would be dissapointed
@dakentaijutsu2010 Жыл бұрын
So you're saying that he would expect anyone at this modern age to try to fight a bull? Dude, you can't expect everyone who trains Kyokushin to be the same level as sosai mas oyama, come on man!
@minecraftkingest4116 Жыл бұрын
@@dakentaijutsu2010 it was Oyama's wish that even one of his students would fell a bull with a single strike, Oyama made Kyokushin just because he disliked Point system and so do i but the thing is people who now own Kyokushin dojos they are trying to change it for the worse they are going against everything that Mas Oyama thought about Karate
@dakentaijutsu2010 Жыл бұрын
@@minecraftkingest4116 that may be, but that still doesn't mean we can all be on the same level as sosai, there can never be another Mas oyama, nuff said, just cause the current generation training in Kyokushin can't (and probably never will) go on out and try to pick a fight with a bull doesn't mean you can call them soft, are you a Kyokushin practitioner? And how do you know what Sosai will think what's disappointing and what isn't? You can't speak for him, you obviously speaking for yourself!
@minecraftkingest4116 Жыл бұрын
@@dakentaijutsu2010 cause i might just be the only person on this earth that can understand him as i can see most fighters nowadays are just some fucking clowns with no intent to be the strongest of all time and no i don't expect them to be as strong as Mas Oyama but they really should ditch hitting pads and gloves, if they already use gloves they should implement face punching but they won't they want to make a hard karate style be easier which will attract people just cause its not that hard as it used to be as Mas Oyama rarely found himself students so he went out of Japan to go look for them or people willing to go through his training regime and even he softened a deal little bit cause what he made his students do was nothing compared to training he did, the only student that truly trained like him was Shigeru Oyama as he was there where Mas trained when he was younger so he often sparred with Oyama himself and did his training regime no suprise there that he was the strongest Kyokushin fighter ever just behind Mas and the Kyokushin today really does disappoint me cause its nothing like true Kyokushin, Kyokushin literally means Ultimate Truth in which Oyama meant that its the true form of Karate which principles should not change cause Mas Oyama was a person who had peak discipline similiar to the warrior he idolized Miyamoto Musashi who he actually wanted to be, but i wouldn't expect you to understand that cause you are nothing like me and Mas Oyama, you lack hard work, discipline and most of all the understanding of everything.
