A BBQ Dinner, Hot Cocoa, Christmas Movies, Homestyle Breakfast, And Checking Out Of Fort Wilderness!

After returning to Fort Wilderness from our trip to Epcot for the Festival of the Holidays, we went back to our cabin to relax and watch some Christmas movies. After feeling refreshed, we got on a bus to P&J's Southern Takeout at Pioneer Hall to pick up some homestyle BBQ ribs and fried chicken (with beans, mac & cheese, and cornbread), and then made some hot cocoa with which to relax for the rest of the evening. The following morning was our check out day, so I made my way back up to Pioneer Hall to get some breakfast for myself and Brennan, and we packed up our belongings as we told an interesting (and unfortunate) story from the night before. We had an incredible time at Fort Wilderness, and we're absolutely excited to head back as quickly as possible! Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon!

Wow, things sure have changed since I worked there. I used to be a Mousekeeper for Yacht and Beach back in 2003 and people would always lock themselves out. We would use our golf carts to go back with the guest to make sure they were ok and to properly assist them. Not just "oh hey, here's a Magic band, it should work." And then to question you about "how is that possible?" Sorry you guys got locked out, that's no fun. Thanks for sharing your staycation!!!

She may have misunderstood and thought I was trying to say we were locked out with both doors deadbolted and locked, but I’m not sure. I believe she was potentially new because she asked us for directions to get to our cabin loop, haha. She was very nice though and it luckily ended up working out!

Yes! I would definitely do the cabin staycation but never the camping thing 😄 So sorry for the bad experience you guys had, locking yourself out of the room sometimes sounds funny but it gets frustrating getting back in, sometimes. I had this experience before. I was in pajamas too and barefoot but at least I was indoors.
