A painted ship upon a painted ocean ...or something . I love the way they can fly anything they can get up the rig! I remember listening to radio Caroline on a tiny transistor radio , that was where I first heard 'Pete Saeger and the silver bullet band' in a special event. By accident found your loveley film about the Tollesbury Smack race. Very nostalgic for me (because I rebuilt Shamrock (CK200) built at Brightlingsea in 1900) in the mid 1960's and raced all the reagattas in the early 70's She eventually finished up in the Maritme Museum in Exeter shortly before they went bust. Bought be aTrust In Suffolk, she lay rotting and uncovered for twenty odd years until I recntly found her and an entuisast bought her. She is very poorly, but back in Brightlingsea awaiting some Lottery money for a rebuild by Harkers Yard , there.
